Barezzi Mattia

Mattia Barezzi obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Engineering at Università di Parma in 2017 and his Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering at Politecnico di Torino in 2021.
He defended his Master’s thesis in Electronic Engineering at Politecnico di Torino named “Long-range Low-power Electronic System for Precision Agriculture,” working on the physical implementation of a Printed Circuit Board in radiofrequency LoRa (Long Range) technology on both hardware and firmware sides.
He began his Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering at Politecnico di Torino in November 2021 with the research title “Smart Electronic Systems for Precision Agriculture” to investigate and develop low-power and low-cost electronic systems for smart agriculture.
Mattia collaborated in the WappFruit research regional project involved in the development of smart technologies applied to water management in fruit growing (especially apple and actinidia plants). In particular, he has been involved in the designing and developing of electronic elements in radiofrequency technology (LoRa), employing cutting-edge technologies to realize a complete micro-irrigation system combining hardware, firmware, and software aspects.
